Sliding staircase with platform, available in versions with 4 to 16 steps.
The Castula sliding staircase slides on an aluminium rail by means of a carriage. The carriage allows linear movements thanks to 12 ball bearings and can be locked by a hand wheel.
It's made with a stainless steel frame, non-slip aluminium steps and landing and is equipped with a handrail. It can be mounted on any piece of furniture, wall or shelf.
A manually operated steel front gate has been fitted for safe use. For a linear travel of the ladder, a lower sliding kit is recommended to be applied on the upright of the platform.
The steps are neither welded nor riveted: they are mounted on die-cast fittings with anti-twist peg and groove, inserted in the upright.
